REGIUS Inc. (REGIUS) is a Veteran-owned discreet and disciplined investigative company specializing in due-diligence, pre-employment background and Nanny investigations as well as other investigations that requires the most discerning scrutiny with an attention to detail.
Led by former law enforcement executives on the Federal and State level with over 50 years of comprehensive law enforcement experience including counter-terrorism, narcotics, financial crimes, illegal export/imports and organized crime investigations; we embody a diverse array of organizational core competencies that prides itself by excelling in Leadership, Strategic Management, Critical Thinking and founded on Ethical and Moral Principles that ultimately lead to providing excellent Customer service.
As an investigative business recognized and licensed by the New York Department of State, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANY/NJ), the U.S. D.O.T., REGIUS also maintains a working relationship with the Federal Government and is registered in the federally administered System for Awards Management (SAM), and is D-U-N-S listed (administered by Dun & Bradstreet).

RICHARD DosSANTOS is founder and CEO of REGIUS INC.
He is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and former, highly cited Federal Law Enforcement Officer with over twenty years of experience having served as both Chief of Patrol of U.S. Customs at JFK Airport and then Director of Patrol for U.S. Customs for the New York Region. The New York Region encompassed patrol activities in New York and northern New Jersey including all airports and waterfront areas. He also served as Senior Customs Representative, the Customs Attache’, in Pakistan. Mr. DosSANTOS has a M.A. in Public Administration from The Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He was a contributing author in the Criminal & Civil Investigation Handbook edited by Joseph J. Grau and is a member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers’ Association.
